Norfolk Conservatives have put protecting Norfolk’s environment and diverse nature at the heart of its plans.
We have planted over 850,000 new trees and hedges since 2021, with more to come to reach 1 million trees over the next two years. This is one of the most ambitious planting schemes in the country.
We have planted a new 15.5 hectare estate in West Norfolk. We have maintained and grown our County Farms estate, protecting 17,000 acres of farmland and care farms, with much of it for new entrants to farming – and we will continue to do so. You can protect Norfolk’s County Estate and tenant farmers by voting Conservative on May 7th.
We are opposed to pylons, solar farms and battery energy storage systems covering valuable productive farmland, destroying natural habitats.
Vote NO to massive solar farms in Norfolk.
We have put nature conservation at the centre of our actions. We have reduced emissions on our property by 50%. We have opened new recycling centres to reduce waste and offer free hazardous waste collection days.
Our environmental grants have provided opportunities to enhance Norfolk’s wildlife, such as new nature areas at schools, supporting wildflower planting and pledging to support the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
If you want to protect Norfolk’s wildlife and special environment - keep Norfolk Conservative on May 7th 🗳️
